Permutive seeks an experienced Product Marketing Director to drive product strategy and go-to-market for Permutive’s advertiser and publisher platform globally. Leading a team of Product Marketing Managers, this position will represent the full product roadmap and suite of Permutive products and services to enterprise customers and partners in an effort to drive product understanding and adoption. 

Success in this position requires strategic product and business acumen, and experience influencing executives and key stakeholders across organizations, disciplines and markets. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, and an expert consensus-builder with the demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment across product, marketing, customer success and sales leadership to create compelling business solutions. 

This person must be an exceptional communicator who can confidently educate and inspire internal and external partners at all levels, and communicate our value proposition to the market. This leader must be a hands-on operator, able to execute against business objectives while growing and developing high-performance teams and individuals and cultivating a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage, inspire, and grow a diverse, high-performing team of product marketers across a distributed set of offices globally
  • Develop annual and semi-annual go-to-market plans collaboratively with product, marketing and sales leadership
  • Partner with regional Sales leadership and Product Marketing Managers to set product adoption goals, execution strategies, and track / analyze performance
  • Champion and execute Product Marketing best practices
  • Distill and surface market feedback from customers that informs product roadmap and improves Permutive’s full product portfolio
  • Apply operational rigor, utilize data-driven insights and identify scalable strategies to support the needs of a fast-growing, in-market Sales team
  • Build and sustain exceptional culture whilst developing outstanding, diverse and empowered teams with exceptional product marketing skills
  • Devise innovative ways to equip regional Sales teams with relevant product expertise for a growing portfolio of solutions
  • Partner with the Marketing Communications team to develop and drive go-to-market strategies through various channels
  • Drive best practice creation & implementation of solutions by vertical, platform and channel
  • Facilitate an ongoing, timely and proactive method of communication across product marketing, sales and customer success to drive alignment and delivery of semi-annual and annual priorities

Requirements

  • Product, product strategy, consulting, or business marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and advertising SaaS sales.
  • Has scaled Product Marketing teams within a software enterprise business
  • Passion for technology and experience turning individual products into solutions that drive business results
  • Proven ability to mentor and lead a large team of high performers located across multiple geographically dispersed offices
  • Exceptional, analytical skills with experience translating complex, multi-faceted scenarios into concise, simplified narratives (i.e., turning science into sales)
  • Track record of influencing at all levels across a large organization
  • Strong customer service orientation and experience in a client-facing capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to drive resolution in the context of competing perspectives
  • Excellent organization and people skills and the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, multi-task and work well independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace
  • Dynamic and flexible and comfortable with a fast-paced, often ambiguous, environment

How we are responding to COVID-19
