Pendo is looking for a data visualization analyst to support the company’s core value of Show Me the Data. This role will join the centralized business analytics team and will partner with members of every functional group to help them understand and visualize the data that drives their team’s success.  The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, entrepreneurial drive, technical curiosity, and a desire to help others.

Responsibilities (what you’ll do):

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Pendo’s business, products, and KPIs
  • Build simple, user-friendly dashboards that pull from multiple data sources
  • Create documentation and training sessions to ensure dashboard usability and enable other employees to use data to answer questions
  • Identify opportunities to use data and promote data tools that aid in decision making
  • Work closely with other business analytics team members to share findings, collaborate on large cross-functional projects, and develop and sustain a data-driven culture throughout the company

Qualifications (what you have):

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities concurrently
  • Team oriented with a strong desire to help others
  • A keen understanding of data visualization and reporting best practices
  • Experience with modern BI and analytics tools: e.g., SQL, Looker, Tableau, etc. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with recurring revenue-based business models a plus
