Pendo is looking for a VP Revenue Operations

One of Pendo's core company values is Show Me the Data.  The VP Revenue Operations uses key operational data to help our customer facing teams "see around corners" and arm them to be the most effective Saas sales team in the industry.
 
The leader of RevOps supports the go-to-market teams, ensuring a tight linkage between sales, customer success, professional services, and marketing.  This role manages the sales ops, customer success ops, and professional services teams in addition to the sales training & enablement teams.  

Responsibilities (what you’ll do):
  • Shape and devise our quota, headcount, and go-to market plans & strategies
  • Provide key reporting & actionable data across the revenue management teams
  • Proactively guide business outcomes -- use data to model & make suggestions on growth areas
  • Cooperate with finance teams to plan hiring, headcount timing, and annual planning
  • Work cross functionality with finance, marketing, and product teams to plan 18-24 months ahead
  • Work along professional services to maximize utilization, margin, plus bookings and help shape offerings
  • Devise the most motivating comp plans in the industry
  • Create and maintain board decks & internal presentations
  • Own the Pendo tech stack for tools and training
  • Work with sales enablement on sales/CS training
  • Collaborate closely with sales development on building a best in class lead qualification process/team
  • Help update and adjust price books along with customer value selling kits to show quantifiable impact for our customers
  • Drive ideas to maximize retention and cross-sells into customer base

Qualifications (what you have):

  • Planning experience & close coordination across teams needed
  • Previous history in designing and rolling out comp models (quota plans & compensation models)
  • Solid reporting skills with a focus on helping the GTM teams plan ahead
  • Extensive CRM experience needed, preferably SFDC
  • Experience managing and leading sales qualification teams 
  • Have driven new market expansion -  new geos and verticals 
  • Scale experience -- have helped previous orgs grown in fast moving environments
  • Understanding of sales methodologies
  • Experience with lead-order processes, systems, and frameworks
  • Detailed knowledge with marketing & sales tech stacks
  • Past work with on-boarding curriculums, on-going training, and selling skills
  • Background with SMB/velocity models in addition to Enterprise functions
  • Knowledge of commercial contracts, order forms, legal, and pricing
  • Teamwork -- we will look for a history of good interactions across functions
  • Great references - please bring references of people you've worked with and for that validate your background
