As we scale, we’re seeking an experience-oriented, data-driven leader to create, execute, maintain, and measure our global approach and strategy towards people policy and labor relations, ensuring we deliver on our mission of being the best place to work. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to think big as well as execute at a tactical level, and will work across teams to shape evolved, accessible People strategies and policies with business priorities and optimal team member experience as guiding pillars. Ideal candidates will be incredible collaborators, passionate about evangelizing policies to stakeholder audiences, and eager to gather and incorporate stakeholder and team member feedback to foster continuous improvement and evolution of Peloton’s labor relations and policy strategy.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Policy Program Management: In partnership with key stakeholders and collaborators perform an in-depth policy review to assess the current state of People policy at Peloton. Work backwards from our business needs to create structure and process for the governance, creation, and maintenance of Peloton’s global People policies. Draft and finalize accessible, data-driven policies as scoped and prioritized across Peloton.
- Positive Team Member Relations Programs: Develop company-wide strategy for positive team member relations, in partnership with key stakeholders and collaborators. Utilize policy and labor relations expertise to identify issues, mitigate risk, and manage program deliverables across your stakeholder base.
- Crisis Management: Swiftly respond to and address critical employee relations issues in partnership with Team Member Relations, Legal, and People Business Partner teams that are crisis-oriented and typically can only be successfully completed with limited time. Balancing time between projects and crisis-response is a critical component of the role.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build collaborative, influential internal and external relationships with Team Member Relations, People Business Partners, Legal, Internal Communications, Business Leaders, as well as other critical stakeholders to gather information, feedback, support and necessary resources to develop and execute positive team member relations strategies and programs. Lead and drive teams through influence and partnership to deliver results and execute project deliverables including the drafting, modification and implementation of company-wide policies.
- Data Analysis and Impact Measurement: Demonstrated ability to utilize data for decision-making that informs proactive strategies and actions. Ability to anticipate areas of opportunities by leveraging data. Exceptional analytical skills, comfortable working with data, communicating findings and developing success measurements of programs and projects.
- Program and People Management: Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead, empower, and motivate a team to drive key projects and programs to completion. Will manage a direct report as the scope of this role evolves.
- Travel: This is a position that may require travel domestically.
WHAT YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Excellent collaboration and leadership skills
- Exceptional project and program management and communication skills; ability to influence and direct key stakeholders and partners in the business
- Experience in both union and non-union environments.
- Foundational understanding of labor and employment laws.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong sense of drive and urgency with a high degree of ownership and a passion for “getting things done” and making an impact.
- Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and solve problems based on the analysis of multiple sources of data (quantitative and qualitative)
- Demonstrated project management experience and skills including planning work, managing details, and keeping multiple tasks/projects on track
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible as business needs change
