SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Representative works within the Customer Service team to support the reception desk, order entry, and assignment of freight carriers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide reception desk coverage to greet guests and assist them with sign in processes. Answer phone calls and transfer to the appropriate party if needed.    
  • Respond to inquiries (emails, calls, in-person) received from various parties, including cross-functional teams, distribution partners, customers, and consumers.
  • Receive orders via email and EDI. Process orders and returns through the ERP system, assign freight carriers, and schedule trucks as needed.
  • Support cross-functional teams with CDMO products, coordinate shipping needs with the client.
  • Collect and sort mail daily, receive packages.
  • Manage scheduling and processes to maintain the company’s apartment and car.
  • Monitor office supplies to ensure adequate levels are available and provide administrative support as requested.
  • Other duties as requested or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in an administrative customer service position required.
  • Experience with ERP Systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365, preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience in an FDA/CGMP manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Experience with a multi-line phone system required.
  • Experience interacting with internal and external customers, data entry, and working with spreadsheets required.
  • Strong computer skills with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) required.
  • Self- motivated, driven, detailed-oriented.
