Peek is looking for a highly talented, passionate and analytical individual to join our growing Finance team. This team is a small and talented cross-functional group that works directly with the executive leadership team to shape external direction and internal processes of our growing company. The team is made up of former Consultants and Finance professionals from companies like Bain and Deloitte, with significant operating experience at numerous high growth venture backed tech companies.  The position is ideal for professionals seeking leadership experience with finance at a tech startup experiencing rapid growth. This role with have significant exposure to the Executive Leadership of the Company. Peek’s executive leadership team holds MBAs from Stanford GSB, HBS and NYU Stern. Working on the Peek Finance team is a great way to gain valuable operating experience. 


Example responsibilities:

  • Build and Lead a team of FP&A professionals
  • Partner with VP Finance and VP Biz Ops on numerous high impact projects
  • Own the annual, quarterly, and monthly forecasting processes
  • Partner with the Accounting team to analyze financial results versus plan for all financial statement line items and certain key financial metrics
  • Oversee the monthly process of Plan vs Actual analysis, including preparing presentations for internal and external use
  • Own Development, preparation and distribution of recurring monthly flash reporting of KPIs
  • Build tracking of KPIs on a real time basis to provide visibility to leadership and others in the organization
  • Oversee the process for all elements of sales team commissions 
  • Help drive and improve the sales compensation plan and design by partnering cross-functionally with finance, sales leadership, sales operations, and HR
  • Work with the Sales Ops team to manage the sales performance dashboard and key sales performance analysis (e.g., funnel tracking, productivity metrics)
  • Achieve expert status on all pertinent (SFDC) reports used by finance and sales operations and analyze and generate insights from SFDC data  
  • Perform various ad-hoc analysis as needed 

Desired skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent at a top tier university
  • Minimum 4 yrs in private equity, investment banking, strategy/management consulting, or on a BizOps/SalesOps or FP&A team at a leading technology company
  • Strong technical background: Excel, SQL, and statistical modeling expertise highly desired, experience desired
  • Process-oriented and goal driven personality
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Very organized with impeccable attention to detail and relentless follow-through
  • Proactive and able to work autonomously when necessary
  • Versatile player that can think at a big picture level and get one’s hands dirty digging through data when needed 
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Looker) a plus
