As an Account Executive at Pecan, you’ll be working at the forefront of AI and predictive analytics. You’ll meet with executives at a range of industries to understand their business challenges, identify the impact predictive analytics can provide and deliver compelling messaging to articulate this value for stakeholder buy-in.

This role reports into the Enterprise pod of Pecan, serving a broad span of industries (e.g., Financial Services, Retail/CPG, Manufacturing, etc.,) and business functions (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain Operations, etc.,). 

At Pecan, our team is focused on delivering value for our customers through collaboration and creative problem solving. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Product and Customer Success to drive results. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Engage prospects to learn about their business challenges and identify opportunities.
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations highlighting benefits of Pecan AI.
  • Frame and size the value and the business impact AI can help customers realize
  • Compose clear, impactful custom messaging that articulates the differentiated value via email, phone & video calls. 
  • Build territory & account plans for assigned territories and verticals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Product to provide market insights
  • Work with Customer Success to ensure customer fit including use case value and feasibility assessment.

Who You Are:

  • Empathetic, value oriented sales style that places the importance on listening & engaging. (No sales robots!)
  • Comfortable with modern sales stack as well as learning new tools as needed. 
  • Familiarity with connections to databases and technical architecture diagrams.
  • Curious about technology and not afraid to learn.
  • Flexibility and ability to work with limited guidance or supervision. 

What Your Experience Looks Like:

  • 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead SaaS deals through closed-won, including technical feasibility, in-depth product demonstration and system architecture/connectivity.
  • Bonus points if you have experience working in SaaS with a consultative sales motion and are comfortable closing six-figure deals. 
  • Double bonus points if this includes experience working with Pecan’s focus industries (Mobile/Gaming, Retail/CPG, Manufacturing/Ops, Financial Services, etc.,) and specifically AI and ML or advanced analytics (BI) experience in those industries
