About Pear Therapeutics

Pear Therapeutics is the leader in prescription digital therapeutics. We aim to redefine medicine by discovering, developing, and delivering clinically validated software-based therapeutics to provide better outcomes for patients, smarter engagement and tracking tools for clinicians, and cost-effective solutions for payers. Pear has a pipeline of products and product candidates across therapeutic areas, including severe psychiatric and neurological conditions. Our lead product, reSET®, treats Substance Use Disorder and was the first prescription digital therapeutic to receive marketing authorization from the FDA to treat disease. About the Team

Pear’s Product Development team is passionate about crafting effective and engaging products that positively impact patient lives. We’re a close-knit, diverse, and inquisitive group that is constantly leveraging research and data, agile methodology, and clinical evidence to drive strategy and optimize the process of creating human-centered experiences in a regulated space.

About the Role

Pear has just been awarded a prestigious SBIR grant to gamify our PDT for Opioid Use Disorder. As a Product Manager, you’ll collaborate extensively across our Design, Clinical, Data, and Engineering teams to learn about our users, discover unmet needs, and innovate thoughtful solutions as you prepare this gamified PDT for a Pivotal trial in mid-2019.
The ideal candidate loves the big picture but also has a penchant for detail. You’re a master of your craft, yet learn new things every day. Curious by nature, you poke at problems from every angle in search of the best approach. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change, keeping your cool and good humor even when under pressure. A natural diplomat, you have a high EQ and a knack for motivating teams. Your excellent communication skills pale only in comparison to your impressive organizational chops. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are able to think on your feet to deliver to deadlines.

What youll do

  • Drive the creation and development of a gamified version of reSET-O by organizing a cross-functional team around research and discovery, and then turning that discovery into reality
  • Transform customer needs into highly engaging, safe, and clinically efficacious products
  • Facilitate clear discussions of complex ideas and interdependencies, clarifying the problem space and breaking down into actionable parts
  • Write clean and accurate stories; prioritize the backlog to ensure the engineering team has the right work at the right time
  • Champion a lean and agile methodology of build-measure-learn, evaluating the impact of solutions to ensure continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with our Clinical Ops and UX Research teams to inform a study design that maximizes product impact on clinical outcomes
