With business still expanding for Pearl Immigration and Pearl Law Group, we are ready to take on an addition to our accounting team. We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join the Firm on a permanent, full time basis in our headquarters, located in San Francisco's Financial District. The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting functions, particularly undertaking a high volume of billing, and sending out invoices to clients, whilst also assisting with accounts receivable duties.

Furthermore, as the successful candidate, your responsibilities will also include:

  • Supporting the team with A/R duties including some collections, and making deposits
  • Assisting with credit card reconciliations
  • Integrating financial data from MS Excel in to NetSuite as required
  • Establishing strong rapport with the Firm’s clients via phone and email
  • Handling relevant communications and client queries in a timely manner
  • Partaking in ad hoc projects assigned to the accounting team
  • Learning & providing backup support for team members with their duties

This role requires a candidate who possesses the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • 1-2+ years minimum experience in a role incorporating high volume billing & invoicing
  • Broader understanding of accounting & finance
  • Exposure to accounts receivable tasks
  • Int-Adv proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
  • Tech-savvy, experience with NetSuite highly advantageous
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow instructions with precision
  • Excellent time management, organization, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Experience in a similar role within immigration law preferred
  • Proven longevity in prior position(s) essential
  • An approachable demeanor and 'can do' attitude
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance - highly advantageous
