We are entering an exciting time at Pearl Immigration. We are ready to take on a People & Operations Manager to own all aspects of People & Operations as the Firm continues to advance and innovate. This position requires an experienced leader who can balance a long-term organizational vision, together with efficiency to execute the building blocks, whilst always encompassing & demonstrating Pearl Immigration's core values (listed below). Therefore this role requires a strong combination of relevant experience, detail-orientation, customer focus, empathy, strategic focus, and tactical know-how. This is a leadership role that requires you to execute at an operational level also.

As the successful candidate, your key responsibilities will include (though will not be limited to):

  • Continually enhancing employee engagement, and organizational/career development, including training & succession planning
  • Supporting managers in creating and monitoring KPI metrics
  • Taking the lead with annual employee salary & bonus reviews
  • Managing HRIS & benefits management platforms
  • Identifying and implementing improvements and technology to streamline benefits
  • Identifying and implementing ways to enhance People processes (i.e new hire on-boarding & orientation, bi-annual follow-ups, staff engagement/satisfaction surveys, etc.)
  • Coordinating with relevant legal counsel to ensure that the Firm is always in compliance with Employee Handbook, HR policies, required employee training and evolving employment laws
  • Leading 'Open Enrollment' (in consultation with CFO), including assessing benefits plans, and making recommendations to senior management; coordinating enrollment of employees
  • Reviewing and making recommendations to reduce business operations costs
  • Taking ownership of the Firm's intranet regarding all HR-related documentation & information
  • Taking ownership for ensuring that all of the Firm's HR functions are in place, and effective as per best practice guidelines
  • Partnering with Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to support overflow of recruitment activities (as required)

You will naturally possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • 5+ years of management experience for a company with 50+ employees (100+ service or technology company preferred)
  • Sound experience with implementing organizational development & succession plans/strategies to staff at all levels
  • Proficiency with HR-related technology/HRIS whilst being tech-savvy in general
  • Exceptional attention to detail with intrinsic motivation to establish best practice processes, policies, and procedures
  • A warm & approachable nature that helps to foster trust and further promote Pearl Immigration's core values
  • Experience with job grading/job evaluations is highly advantageous
  • Experience with benefits & remuneration is also highly advantageous
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
  • Excellent time management, organization, and multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to work effectively within all levels of organization
  • Resourceful, driven, and trustworthy nature who has ethics that cannot be compromised
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
