We are currently seeking to add an Accounting Supervisor to our dynamic team in Portland, Oregon.
$87,000 to $102,000 annually full time with benefits.
PBS has had a year of record growth and our accounting department is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to add to the team. We are looking for a motivated individual with accounting experience wanting to take the next step in their career by growing into a managerial role. Our team values communication, support, and accuracy. While working closely with our CFO and Controller this role will receive the mentorship necessary to have a rewarding career with opportunities for leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related major or 10-15 years of accounting experience
5+ years of accounting, or equivalent, experience
Leadership and/or management skills
Excellent communication, both written and oral
Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills
Ability to pass a background check
Desirable Qualifications
A/E industry experience
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Create monthly financial reports
Review monthly overhead labor and journal entries for accuracy
Monthly bank reconciliations
File annual and quarterly B&O Tax Returns
CPA fiscal year end preparations and reporting
Growing responsibility would include supervision of staff
