The Kind of Person We're Looking For:

The role of Business Development Manager focuses on managing current partner relationships and exploring new partnerships to drive incremental revenue for Paytronix. While the primary focus of the role is to ensure partners are creating new revenue for Paytronix, it will also include activities related to integrations and other relationship management activities.

If you are somebody who enjoys engaging current and prospective partnerships; and working with partners to create strategic go-to-market strategies, this is the role for you. If you consider yourself revenue-focused, creative and able to achieve results via influencing partner organizations, you will likely fit in very well.

The Kind of Stuff You'll Be Doing:

  • Developing strong relationships with key personnel within the current partner ecosystem
  • Engaging prospective partner organizations
  • Identifying go-to-market opportunities via partners, including growth of current initiatives and creating new initiatives
  • Creating financial models to measure revenue impact of partnerships
  • Communicating our platform capabilities, strengths, and differentiators to partners
  • Managing and executing a partner and sales pipeline/forecast
  • Conducting partner facing presentations using effective selling methods
  • Work with various partner functions (BDM’s, sales leadership, sales teams, marketing, product management, etc.) and various functions within Paytronix (marketing, sales, product management, client support, engineering and finance).
  • Updating key stakeholders within Paytronix on progress with new partners and new partner initiatives
  • Identifying “at risk” partners, and/or their customers, and coordinating resources to resolve issues
  • Traveling to partner offices and conferences within the US

The Kind of Experience You'll Need:

  • Proven ability to drive incremental revenue from partnerships and to exceed targets
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration within your own employers and partner organizations
  • Ability to handle partner engagements in a manner that is strategic, professional, ethical, and persuasive
  • Ability to understand the ever-evolving hospitality/retail landscape in order to pre-empt competitive threats and to ensure the durability of our partnerships
  • Ability to create and pitch partnership models to partners, both current and prospective

The Kind of Extra Stuff That Would Be Nice:

  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com
  • Experience in restaurant, convenience store, or other retail industries
