About The Role: 

The  Member Engagement Manager will work closely with payer clients to deliver on KPI goals by designing, implementing, and optimizing consumer-facing campaigns that drive product adoption and utilization. 

This new role is perfect for someone who is equal parts analytical and creative. You think of consumers first and are constantly trying to understand how they think, feel, and act. You know how to build successful relationships with clients and influence, consult and support them throughout the lifetime of the project. You are a multi-tasker who can transition from detailed planning and execution to high level presentations. You can analyze and present data as well as find creative ways to inspire consumers to act.  You thrive in dynamic startup environments because you love to see the fruits of your labor and can make change happen.

Our “remote with roots” model allows us to work where we thrive and gather as needed, often in our home office in Columbia, Missouri. This role can be performed from anywhere in the continental U.S., with the exception of Montana. 

What You'll Do: 

  • Thought Leadership, Influence & Relationship Building 
    • Build a robust understanding of Paytient’s payer clients to develop effective marketing strategies and best practices based on data and key learnings to secure client buy-in. 
  • Campaign Design & Execution
    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to successfully design and implement campaigns that drive product adoption. 
    • Lead asset development from ideation to execution in collaboration with our creative team to quickly turn around high-quality work
    • Continually look for ways to improve campaign metrics; creative and innovative; leverage multiple marketing channels including but not limited to email, web, direct mail, in-app, push notifications, and SMS;A/B test to optimize campaigns. 
  • Project Management
    • Manage compliance and requirements in collaboration with clients.
    • Develop marketing plans (goals, strategies, tactics, KPIs) based on specific timelines and deployment cadences that drive successful product adoption and utilization. 
    • Manage all project timelines, establishing deadlines for asset creation, client review and approval, deployment dates, etc.
  • Data Analysis
    • Monitor all campaign metrics and analyze, interpret, and present results for campaign optimization. 

What You'll Bring: 

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in marketing, with an emphasis on strategic marketing, customer-facing interaction, marketing innovation, implementation, and analytics. 
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships, exert influence and act as a trusted consultant in a collaborative, value-add manner over the lifecycle of a project. 
  • Experience with multi-channel campaigns including email, direct mail and SMS, as well as marketing automation.
  • Strong multi-channel copywriting skills, with strong attention to detail and a high bar for quality (e.g. email, direct mail, SMS, web, and video.)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Critical thinking, sound judgment and decision making skills.
  • Experience working on a cross-channel marketing platform like Iterable, Braze, or equivalent
  • Strong initiative in setting a course of action using sound business rationale.
  • Excellent collaboration and coordination skills with team members and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to define, track and measure outcomes. 
  • Highly organized; can prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced Excel, Google Analytics and PowerPoint user.
  • Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced dynamic startup environment.
  • Independent solutions-oriented problem-solving skills with a consumer mindset.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • HTML/CSS experience a plus.
  • Healthcare and/or financial services experience a plus.
