About PayPay and Pay 2 Development Center 

PayPay, a fintech company providing a service enjoyed by over 60 million users (as of Oct 2023) merely 5 years since its launch in 2018 in Japan. The company is now home to a very diverse team of members from more than 50 countries. We grew to a team of several thousand employees in Japan but are far from over. We are still in the Day 1. Why India ?

To build our Payment services, we allied with Paytm, the biggest payment service company in India. Based on their customer-first technologies, we created and expanded the smartphone payment service in Japan. Therefore, we have decided to establish a development base in India, as we have been developing our services under the influence of India, a technological powerhouse from the beginning. We create user-first services with development members in Japan and Canada while pursuing the latest technology. That is what we will do here.

Our biggest competitor is "cash". Job Description

Pay2DC is looking for an Android Engineer to work on our payment product to deliver the best payment experience for our customers.

 

Team Missions

  • Grow finance mobile service as user's first touch point of PayPay.
  • Actively follow new technology and make our app more convenient using it.
  • Build new features rapidly along with a variety of technical approach, native OS / KMM / own SDK etc and deliver with high quality.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our product team to customize the payment experience
  • Prototype new and redesign features
  • Focus on UI/UX design principles and product driven development
  • Work with an elite and focused team of app developers

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of modern mobile development
  • Strong in Object Oriented design and Kotlin
  • Experience with the Android development
  • Strong passion for code quality and are not allergic to test cases
  • Familiarity with integration of Rest API
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • At least one mobile app you can show off in the interview
  • At least 3-10years of professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CI/CD tool(e.g. Bitrise)
  • Ability to develop features while conducting unit tests
  • Knowledge of performance optimization
  • Ability to communicate with product members and other development team in English
  • Familiarity with Agile development
  • Experience integrating and development payment service
  • Any Engineering Graduate
