ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an experienced Trade Marketing Manager to support our growth in the Massachusetts and New York legal cannabis markets. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all marketing initiatives are executed on-brand, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, have strong project management skills, and possess a deep understanding of regional market dynamics.
- Oversee the regional trade budget, focusing on driving brand awareness and maximizing ROI.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute impactful regional marketing activations.
- Execute against brand calendar, including the delivery of all trade materials, in a timely manner
- Coordinate engagement opportunities within a door with the Sales team, and lead implementation
- Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints to ensure clarity of marketing messages
- Evaluate the performance and success of trade marketing programs and optimize accordingly
- Influence the creation of effective marketing tools and collateral to support sales efforts.
- Foster relationships with key agencies and partners to deliver high-impact campaigns.
- Stay informed on the legal and market landscape to identify new opportunities and drive innovation
- Manage regional storage unit to ensure it is properly stocked for the market
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years in trade marketing, preferably in regulated consumer products
- Understanding of the Massachusetts and New York legal cannabis markets a big plus
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally
- Experience managing budgets and optimizing spend to drive business results
- Ability to track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics from in the field
- Creative thinker with a passion for building and growing brands

COMPENSATION
In addition to the benefits above, this role has a pay range between $85-120k + equity. This pay range represents what we believe, in good faith, this role will pay. The final pay will depend on many factors, including years and depth of experience, level, and location of the employee. We only expect to pay the top of the range in rare and exceptional circumstances, for candidates that far exceed the requirements and expectations of the position.
