The Senior Director of Talent Acquisition creates a visionary recruiting strategy for North America and collaborates Globally to a ensure consistent best in class recruitment experience. They provide innovative and creative strategic direction by collaborating with key stakeholders to understand Pax8’s priorities and executes the vision as it relates to acquiring and retaining talent. They oversee and develop a full-scale talent acquisition team to ensure that each candidate has an exceptional experience. The Senior Director maintains successful partnerships with both internal clients and external recruiting partners to facilitate the objectives and overall success of the organization.
Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to):
- Provide innovative strategic direction for a best-in-class Talent Acquisition team who supports and challenges them to be highly efficient and effective in hiring top notch talent
- Identify areas for talent growth and mentor the team to accommodate the organization’s evolving needs
- Influence leaders to understand immediate and long-term staffing needs while managing expectations and collaborates on the segment recruiting strategy for different job profiles and functions within the organization
- Develop and execute an evolving mid- to long-term plan for the expansion of the Talent Acquisition function that continually elevates the value that the team brings to Pax8
- Speak to measurable Talent Acquisition programs, resources, and processes to heighten awareness and understanding of Pax8’s employment brand
- Drive innovative recruitment technology to enable data driven strategy and decision making and streamline processes
- Collaborate with Career Development leadership on appropriate training for employees engaged in talent acquisition activity
- Drive and implement organizational best practices based on successful recruiting trends
- Ensure recruiting process complies with legal requirements and guidelines
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressive talent acquisition experience
- At least five (5) years in a leadership role preferred
- Ability to manage a team of at least five (5) people
- Experience with a rapidly growing company as they scale
- Broad demonstrated knowledge and understanding of corporate recruiting processes
- Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Ability to use a combination of feedback and reflections to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses
- Ability to paint a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action
- Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
- Ability to see ahead to future possibilities and translate them to breakthrough strategies
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to translate business priorities into recruiting priorities, strategies, and plans
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and leadership
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to effectively work and collaborate across departments and levels with a service mindset
- Ability to grasp complex ideas and change direction quickly in a fast-paced environment

Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $145,000 or more depending on experience
