What You'll Do

  • Build partnerships and brand alignment with Animal Welfare, Rescue, and Shelter organizations and activists
  • Build relationships with industry professionals (vets/behaviorists)
  • Take leadership of Pawp's social and animal welfare mission and partner with Social and PR teams to raise awareness about Pawp's impact
  • Incentivize the community to create user-generated content and spread the word about Pawp digitally
  • Build relationships with customers & potential customers through Facebook groups, Twitter, and Reddit (+ other relevant social media platforms)
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Source engaging content from social media platforms to repurpose on Pawp's social profiles
  • Support social media team with social calendar & posting
  • Invite social users to join the community by following us on Facebook
  • Manage the VIP community at Pawp, converting them into Brand Ambassadors
  • Organize (virtual) events
  • Keep updated with all the important events and engage with the community

What You'll Need

  • Have previous experience as a community manager or similar role
  • Passion for pets
  • Experience planning and leading community initiatives
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills
  • Hands on experience with social media management
  • Ability to interpret website traffic
  • Knowledge of online marketing
  • Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver
  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
