Position Overview:

As a Payment Kiosk Developer at Pavilion Payments, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge payment kiosk solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly interfaces, integrate payment processing systems, and ensure the reliability and security of our kiosk applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Payment Kiosk Development:

  • Design and develop user interfaces and functionalities for payment kiosks that align with business requirements and user experience goals.
  • Implement secure and efficient payment processing functionalities, including card transactions, mobile payments, and other emerging payment technologies.

Integration with Payment Gateways:

  • Integrate payment kiosks with various payment gateways, ensuring compatibility with different payment methods and systems.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and financial institutions to implement secure and compliant payment processing solutions.

User Experience (UX) Design:

  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for payment kiosks.
  • Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and make improvements to enhance the overall user experience.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive customer data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay updated on security best practices and proactively address potential vulnerabilities.

Maintenance and Support:

  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for deployed payment kiosks, addressing any issues or bugs in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with support teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported problems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in payment kiosk development, including knowledge of payment processing protocols and standards.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
  • Familiarity with hardware integrations, including card readers, receipt printers, and touchscreen displays.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with mobile payment technologies (e.g., NFC, QR codes).
  • Knowledge of EMV standards and compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
