We are looking for a Brand Designer to join the Pattern Creative team, reporting directly to our Associate Creative Director of Brand & Physical Product. 
 
In this role you will be responsible for helping to concept and execute creative across print and digital, including the execution of brand guidelines, marketing emails, packaging, and various types of cool marketing decks. You will also be assisting with design research and trend forecasting in the physical product space. 
 
We are looking for a conceptual thinker with a strong background in developing holistic and timeless brand design systems. You have an advanced understanding of design fundamentals related to typography, grid, layout, and color, and know how to articulate design rationale which makes your creative output consistently smart and beautiful. 
 
This role will be a hybrid of WFH and in-studio work with our creative team, and is required to be based in the New York area.
 
Key Accountabilities 
  • Refine and expand visual guidelines across each Pattern brand
  • Execute all email design including automated flows and marketing campaigns
  • Own packaging design from concept to execution including dielines and print specs 
  • Design various marketing materials including wholesale decks, PR kits, and product collateral
  • Assist in conceptualizing AD direction for new product launches and campaigns
  • Collaborate with creative team members to create consistency across platforms and assets
 
Qualifications: 
  • 3-5 years of experience at an agency or in-house brand 
  • Advanced in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Figma, and Keynote
  • A deep understanding of typography, color, layout, and best practices across print and digital
  • Passion for the Pattern mission, the home-interior design space and physical product design
  • Expert in creating print-ready files and general print processes
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Are very curious, not afraid to ask questions, and over-communicate with your team
  • Have a sense of humor and find enjoyment in everyday moments
