You’re comfortable being a player-coach, including managing all aspects of user research across a research-driven organization. Being fluent in a variety of methods such as: usability studies, ethnographic field studies, remote testing, competitive evaluations, participatory design sessions, surveys, heuristic evaluations, etc., and knowing which to method to use and when is critical.
Translate insights into action
You’re an expert in observation, adept at listening, and have a natural ability for asking the right questions at the right time. Collecting data and organizing your findings into actionable insights is how you influence the decision we make for our users.
- 4 - 7 years of experience in user research
- A portfolio of relevant projects where you were a key contributor
- Managed research methods throughout the product development life cycle from discover through deployment
- Organized, independent, and able to juggle multiple workstreams
- Effective communicator, negotiator, and collaborator
Additional desired qualifications:
- Education in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Science or related field.
- Experience in healthcare or similar regulated/complex consumer environment.
