But all of this is meaningless without great people, so we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to to join our new Data team and architect and develop data pipelines and databases that allow our data scientists to derive insights from our rich and diverse data sources. This is an exciting opportunity to get in on the ground floor and help grow the presence and impact of data-driven solutions to a variety of business challenges.

How will you contribute to PatientPop?

This role will impact our organization by architecting and developing data warehouse solutions to help provide key insights on how our product performs and also how our customers perform. With these insights, we can prospect and sell more effectively. Thus providing much-needed support to our data collection initiatives

You will work with Data Architects, Engineers, Data Scientists and Business Stakeholders from marketing, sales, product, customer success and finance to develop elegant solutions to meet data needs. You will develop and optimize ETL processes, along with defining technical requirements and data architecture for our data warehouse.

Who will be successful in this role?

We are looking for someone with a passion for data. The ability to plan, organize, execute priorities to meet business goals, and achieve results is key to success in this role. Our ideal person will have 3+ years with backend or data engineering experience. A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent training and experience) OR Master’s or Ph.D in a quantitative field and 1 year of experience in a data-intensive role (Senior DS: Master’s and 3+ years experience). The role requires knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with scalable architectures and large data processing. A high degree of proficiency in SQL and Python or R is a must. And a proven ability in ETL, data mining, and using databases in a business environment with large-scale and complex datasets.
