About the Role:
The Project Manager II has intermediate project management knowledge and is responsible for managing and implementing minor, major, and some complex projects within the Banking as a Service (BaaS) Organization.
What You Will Do:
- Manage minor, major, and some complex Enterprise projects
- Collaborate with all levels of management including executives, business, and operational regarding project scope and deliverables
- Effectively communicate project expectations to sponsors, team members, and stakeholders
- Develop full-scale project schedules and associated project documentation; follow established project management methodology when producing artifacts
- Facilitate large group project discussions
- Identify and resolve conflicts within the project team
- Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of the risk management process; collaborate with the team to identify, assess, and provide solutions for identified issues and risks
- Prepare appropriate project dashboards and reports for management and project stakeholders
- Identify, track, and communicate business interdependencies across projects
- Actively participate and recommend changes to project management practices and provide focus on continuous improvement within the project management framework
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Will Need:
- Education: Undergraduate degree in finance, business, information technology, or related field from an accredited institution
- Experience: 4+ years in project management, finance, information services, or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be prepared to perform significant portions of their work in a remote computer-based work environment, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Microsoft Project
Other Skills:
- Intermediate knowledge of project management
- Experience in working with financial services/banking regulations and operations procedures preferred
- Knowledge of business operations, business process, and business strategy
- Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Intermediate facilitation skills; ability to communicate and collaborate with executives
- Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
- Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment and react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
- Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives
- Understanding of technical concepts
- Intermediate knowledge of software development methodologies including waterfall, agile, and hybrid
