We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Vice President of Finance to lead our finance organization, focusing on rigorous financial planning, analysis, and operational execution. This role is ideal for a leader with a deep financial and operational background who can drive the team toward achieving critical financial and business objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and mentor the FP&A, accounting, & BI teams, building a high-performance function that aligns with organizational goals. Act as a trusted financial partner to executives, demonstrating strong financial acumen and strategic insight.
  • Cash Flow Management: Develop and execute cash flow strategies that optimize working capital and ensure liquidity in a heavy-asset environment. Monitor, analyze, and forecast cash flow to align with business priorities and operational needs.
  • Organizational Development: Build, lead, and scale the finance organization to ensure robust financial processes, accuracy in reporting, and clarity in financial planning.
  • Execution Excellence: Drive rigorous financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting with a relentless attention to detail. Own the planning process to ensure timelines and deliverables are met consistently.
  • Accounting Leadership: Proven experience establishing and managing accounting processes in a startup environment, including handling rapid growth, ensuring GAAP compliance, managing cash flow, and overseeing efficient month-end and year-end close procedures tailored to a high-growth setting.
  • Motivational Leadership: Engage and inspire the finance organization around key business timelines, milestones, and targets, fostering a goal-oriented and achievement-focused environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Develop strong partnerships across departments, including Sales, Operations, People, Engineering, and Product, to align financial planning with business objectives.
  • Solution-Oriented Mindset: Approach financial challenges with optimism and focus on solutions rather than risks. Foster a proactive, results-driven culture within the finance team.

Who You Are

  • A financial leader with a proven track record in building and scaling finance organizations, particularly in managing working capital for heavy-asset businesses.
  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, corporate finance, and cash flow management for complex, capital-intensive operations.
  • Strong analytical and business intelligence skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experienced in managing inventory and fixed assets using ERP systems, with a collaborative approach to working alongside supply chain and operations teams.
  • A results-oriented professional with demonstrated success in high-growth environments, adept at navigating financial planning in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
  • Business-savvy with a deep understanding of how financial planning and cash flow strategies impact revenue generation and broader organizational goals.
  • A confident leader capable of representing the finance function at the executive level, offering strategic vision and insights into key financial and operational metrics.
