We are looking for a Software Engineer, with a focus on Test and Infrastructure, to work on our efforts in developing our test infrastructure.  You will report to our Software Development lead and will join a team of dedicated, supportive, and enthusiastic people to help create the future of manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

  • Create automated test infrastructure/tools that will empower the engineering team to fully validate proper behavior and integration of software with hardware
  • Enable fully-integrated hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and isolated testing of individual components
  • Embody our “solutions-driven” values by identifying and implementing testing strategies
  • Design and develop test solutions and automation in a cross-functional, agile environment
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage the documentation and deliverables required for each projects testing and automation

Who You Are

  • You are excited to work on autonomous robotics systems
  • You care about quality and are dedicated to shipping high-quality code
  • You have experience with one or more of the following:
    • TDD, ATDD, and BDD
    • HIL and SIL testing
    • Simulation
  • You possess a Bachelor’s degree in technology or information systems or equivalent experience
  • You have 5+ years of experience with tools such as:
    • Jenkins, Travis CI, AWS CodeBuild or equivalent
    • LabVIEW, Simulink
    • Sonar/SonarQube, Coveralls
    • Behave, Cucumber, Robot Framework (or equivalent)
    • GTest, gMock
    • Wireshark
  • You have strong software engineering and software testing fundamentals 
  • You are experienced with deploying and operating services on Linux
  • You are knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing and operations
