About the position

We’re looking for an Human Resources Specialist to join our growing People team; the ideal candidate will have experience across all general HR responsibilities (bonus points for experience scaling from 50 to 200 employees!) In this role, you will be a crucial and trusted resource for Pathlight employees— starting from the moment they join and throughout any changes that occur during their tenure. The ideal candidate is highly organized, excels at task management, and is a strong written and verbal communicator. The person who joins our team will have the opportunity to positively impact every employee’s experience and the company culture as a whole. 

What you’ll do

  • Manage benefits and annual open enrollment
  • Supervise automated payroll and run off-cycle payrolls when needed
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding process for all employees
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, worker protection, and state regulations
  • Participate in key strategic decisions around compensation and other HR policies
  • Aid in resolving sensitive HR situations 
  • Own mobile device procurement and ongoing management 
  • Build and implement training programs that encourage safety, health, and retention

What you’ll bring

  • 3-5 overall years of experience
  • 2-3 years of experience scaling from 50 to 200 employees
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with people across the organization
  • Ability to effectively prioritize various tasks and projects 
  • Experience with Rippling is a huge plus, but not required
