What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Reporting and Data Analysis Lead with advanced skills in analyzing multi-source data to derive actionable insights, develop visualizations, and lead initiatives related to data driven solutions for one of our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contracts. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with analytical, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, aligning deliverables with organizational goals, agency requirements, and regulatory standards.

What you will do as a Reporting and Data Analysis Lead: 

  • Create data standards to develop performance metrics and enable analysis for a newly-created program.
  • Develop visualizations, using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools, to display information to a variety of audiences.
  • Support knowledge management efforts, including security storage and categorization of sensitive information.
  • Work closely with process development teams to ensure data is created and captured at the point to generation to enable data analysis and visualization
  • Communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering a collaborative environment across departments.
  • Develop reports and briefings to executives.
  • Continuously assess processes for improvement based on changing business needs and feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead a task, comprised of 5 other data and reporting analysts and technicians, as part of a larger project team.

Qualifications:

  • US Citizen (the nature of our contract requires employees be US citizens).
  • A Top Secret clearance is required. 
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 10 years of experience is required.
  • Strong ability to lead projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Hands-on experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify gaps and develop actionable improvement plans.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to understand the big picture and provide strategic insights.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership and executives.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional teams.
