Everyone is welcome here. Each of us is unique, and that’s what makes us amazing. We believe in inclusiveness and celebrating each person’s individuality, because there’s power in bringing people with different points of view and life experiences together. That’s why we provide equal employment opportunities (EEO). All applicants are considered regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, veteran status, or sexual orientation.

So, bring yourself and your best ideas; when we feel safe and comfortable being ourselves, there’s no limit to what we can achieve.

IN A NUTSHELL…

As a Marketing Manager, you will be primarily responsible for driving revenue in the market through product and promotion strategic leadership, new product development strategies, onsite and offsite event oversight, awareness and conversion campaigns, and new patient or consumer acquisition. You will be the voice and advocate for our patients and/or customers. You will know local competition better than anyone, relentlessly seeking ways to attract more patients and/or customers and drive more revenue.

This role is highly collaborative and requires creative problem solving, strong communication skills, personal initiative, and leadership skills. This role requires marketing operations experience, project management skills, and a strong understanding of product marketing and consumer insights.  Your personal success will be evident by the business growth and customer satisfaction you are able to achieve in the market. This role is highly autonomous and will require a high level of strategic and organizational leadership.

For more information, visit www.liveparallel.com.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Single Point of Contact for Product Marketing. You will know the local consumers and trends in those markets better than anyone.  Leverage data to uncover insights and opportunities which will inform marketing campaigns and the market product roadmap.
  • Competitive Expert. Know the competitive landscape and respond quickly to any competitive changes with data-backed recommendations. Track new products, product quality and pricing in your market and inform leadership of observations and opportunities. You will spend a lot of time ‘in the field’ to be able to provide firsthand knowledge.
  • Data Analyst and Reporter. Provide routine reporting to ensure visibility to market dynamics as well as the progress and success of internal initiatives.  These will include:
    • Monthly business reviews
    • Competitive updates
    • Post launch analyses on product launches.
    • Consumer research and surveys that gather feedback and produce actionable insights
    • Product and innovation opportunities and roadmaps
  • Product Ideator and Customer/Patient Advocate. We believe strongly in the benefits of cannabis and expect that you will too.   You aren’t expected to formulate new gummies or design new vapes, but you will be the voice of our customers who have a variety of needs.  Combined with competitive insights and consumer data, you should be a vocal advocate for what will work well in the market.

MARKET-SPECIFIC CONTEXT & RESPONSIBILITIES

Goodblend (Texas)

Texas is a very challenging regulatory environment for legal cannabis.  Product offerings and dosage are heavily regulated by the state, and limited awareness of the legal medical marijuana program is a significant barrier to overcome.   You will be closely connected to internal and external stakeholders, as well as compliance and regulatory partners to develop a deep understanding of current market regulations, continually monitoring potential regulatory changes and their impact on our products, packaging and ability to effectively compete.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent presentation capabilities
  • Familiarity with the market you will be supporting, and willingness to engage with a wide variety of partners and stakeholders

  • Age 21 or over (Industry Requirement)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Industry Requirement)
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Industry Requirement)

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

An "active duty wartime or campaign badge veteran" means a veteran who served on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service during a war, or in a campaign or expedition for which a campaign badge has been authorized under the laws administered by the Department of Defense.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
