Account Executive

This is an opportunity to join one of the most advanced and fastest growing tech companies in the logistics and supply chain space. Having secured $12.7M in Series A funding earlier this year, we are in hyper-growth mode to support our expanding customer and product base. In the last year alone, we've seen our revenue stream,  customer base, and digital activity grow by 5x! This newly created position will be an integral part of our Sales team as we embark on the next phase of our growth.

As an Account Executive, you will work with our small team of self-starters to sell the Parade Platform and help reshape how freight is moved in the modern era of Transportation as a Service. The Parade Platform accelerates work productivity and automates, through AI and Machine Learning, the daily functions of the brokerage office-desk coordinators as they support freight delivery to millions of truck drivers on the road.

Responsibilities

  • Process inbound leads from marketing and qualify opportunities for your funnel
  • Learn the Parade value proposition and present our solution to qualified buyers
  • Uncover and identify client problems and deliver a solution sales approach
  • Become Proficient in the Parade Product suite and demo the product
  • Create a Territory and Target Account List to build awareness, education and drive adoption of the Parade platform
  • Manage outbound calling and e-mail campaigns to educate target opportunities
  • Support the Parade Channel and Alliance team by working Partners in Territory
  • Develop a thorough understanding of how Parade interacts with client segments to clearly communicate technical capabilities and business impact to customers
  • Build monthly pipeline to a minimum of 3x of quarterly goals
  • Negotiate and navigate complex Enterprise, Mid-market and SMB buy cycles
  • Create Account Plans for your Top 10 opportunities in the sales funnel that include account strategy, solutions, positioning, budget attainment, ROI delivery and execution
  • Ability to close and execute on monthly sales targets
  • Provide feedback to Leadership, Marketing and Product on customer needs and relevant feature requests
  • Upsell product to existing customers to expand Parade Footprint
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Parade implementation to ensure client satisfaction for initial onboarding and long -term customer satisfaction 
  • Help create differentiated sales collateral, including testimonials and case studies
  • Effectively and proactively communicate with customers to build a trusted advisor relationship

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years+ sales experience selling SaaS solutions to Enterprise and SMB
  • Proven track record of success; achieving, exceeding monthly and annual quotas
  • We are looking for top performers, President Club Winners, reps who crush sales quotas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Individuals who are competitive and do not stop until goals are achieved
  • Self-starters who driven and can work in a less structured environment
  • People with start- up experience and have worked in companies of 50 people or less
  • Experience selling software solutions or like products
  • Domain knowledge of Transportation industry (not a must, but important)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • University or College Degree, Military Experience or other key accomplishments in life
  • Desire to quickly grow subject matter expertise – you are excited to learn about both Parade technology and relevant freight domains (such as shippers, brokers, and carriers)
  • Value self-learning – you habitually further your understanding of relevant areas of interest, such as AI, cloud computing, and software development
  • You were an athlete in High School, College or are now a Weekend Warrior
  • Open to coaching and collaboration, we will all learn together how to win
  • Have a positive attitude, believe in yourself and are confident in your abilities

Compensation

The expected on-target compensation for this role is between $120,000-$250,000 for work performed in the United States. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience level, transferrable skills, education, location, business needs, training, and market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
