Paperless Post is seeking a talented, analytical, and driven performance marketer with strong knowledge of product feed management and deep expertise managing Google Ads campaigns to scale growth. 

As a Paid Marketing Lead / Sr Specialist, you will build, optimize and scale best-in-class Performance Max/Google Shopping campaigns. You will also work closely with team members on our Growth Marketing to optimize and scale feed-based advertising across other media channels. Additionally as a product feed expert, this role will also serve as liaison between marketing and merch teams to advise on growing category trends and identify new, untapped opportunities based on deeper product-level performance insights. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, data driven, and possesses a love for driving results.

This is a hybrid position based in our New York City office and will report to the Senior Manager, Paid Marketing. 

What you’ll do here: 

  • Own day-to-day campaign and bid management of shopping/pmax campaigns across Google and Microsoft 
  • Own paid product feed strategy, execution, and tracking across Google/Performance Max campaigns as well as other paid marketing channels to drive performance in line with budget and goals
  • Support other media channels with feed-driven strategy to help provide a more holistic approach and connect our Shoppable programs
  • Create, manipulate, and manage product feed custom label strategy and categorization logic as it pertains to content and product roadmaps
  • Develop and execute shoppable media/product feed testing and optimization roadmap based off of internal category and product-level analysis to increase incrementality of paid marketing investment 
  • Regularly audit and QA everchanging product feed to ensure seasonal//category/partnership product groups are appropriately classified and have adequate paid marketing coverage as planned
  • Monitor and advise on campaign budgets and bid management of shoppable media such as Google Performance Max/Shopping, Microsoft Product Ads, Pinterest Shopping etc as well as newly integrated shopping 
  • Ensure measurement strategy, reliable tracking capabilities, and robust ROI reporting measures are in place for shoppable media and feed based ad placements.
  • Partner with internal teams (e.g. Eng, Data, SEO, Merch and Content etc.) to effectively drive all aspects of the channel you manage 
  • Educate other members of the marketing team on product feed management and feed optimizations.
  • Function as the expert across product feed and shoppable media and stay up to date on industry/competitive trends and technologies, betas, and best practices 
  • Keep up to date with Google algorithm changes, new advertising features, and paid marketing developments to refine our approach continuously.

Must Haves:

  • 4+ years in performance marketing, with at least 2 years of hands-on Performance Max and Google Shopping campaign management experience required (prior agency and/or in-house ecommerce experience is a strong plus) 
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, and experience in product feed management and optimization(experience managing Meta and/or Pinterest shopping campaigns is a plus) 
  • Proven track record of scaling performance marketing spend via shoppable media while maintaining positive ROI 
  • Strong understanding of product feed optimizations and the impact product grouping and categorization logic will have on larger shopping strategy 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Up-to-date with ecommerce industry trends, best practices, and emerging advertising technologies.
  • Detail-oriented, without losing sight of the bigger picture. You’re organized, meticulous, and thorough, but have a solid understanding of how your channel fits into the overall marketing strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfortable with presenting.

The compensation range for this role is $93,000 - 108,00 USD. 

At Paperless Post, compensation is based on a number of factors, including geographic location, job-related skills, years of experience, and internal team banding. All full-time offer packages come with a base salary, equity component, and options for fully paid medical, dental, and vision benefits. The range posted here is based on the NYC market and may vary based on candidate location.
