The Opportunity: 

An integral part of what we do is geometric processing.  This begins with the upload and processing of design files and extracting metadata that feeds our geometric processing engine.  As we work with more advanced manufacturing environments, the complexity of these files continue to grow.  We’re looking for an engineer to continue to advance our ability to process larger and more complex files and help us serve more of our customers working with these very demanding design files.   

Who you are:

You’re an experienced software engineer that understands and enjoys the process of tuning code for performance.  You know how to harness data to inform your approach to solving problems and can set up performance tests to benchmark the product with. You are able to visualize spatial problems involving 3D design.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Applied Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics or related field
  • Knowledge of Linear Algebra, Geometry, Multi Variable and Vector Calculus
  • Deep knowledge in a program language like Python, Java, C/C++, Typescript
  • Strong understanding of how to find performance bottlenecks within code structures.
  • Experience setting up performance tests and benchmarks
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as Solidworks, Creo, Catia, Siemens NX, Inventor, Fusion 360, or Onshape
  • Familiarity with containerized applications
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure services such as AWS, GCP, Azure
