Your purpose:
Paperless Parts is seeking a Field Marketing/Events Manager to partner closely with Sales to help create, accelerate, and close pipeline. The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing demand programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team, including events, email campaigns, direct mail, and other high-impact programs. This person loves to work closely with sales, identifies new opportunities to connect with prospective customers, and acts as a liaison between the marketing and sales teams. Ultimately, this role is responsible for helping a sales team meet or exceed demand generation targets by executing high-impact, creative, experiential marketing programs and industry events.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with sales to prioritize and execute highly targeted virtual and in-person events with prospects and customers to help accelerate the pipeline. Ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event, and post-event strategy to generate new business
- Proactively engage with the direct and partner sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities
- Support co-marketing opportunities with partners to create demand at scale
- Strategize, build, and execute integrated field campaigns that involve email marketing, direct mail marketing, and other channels that help generate new business
- Assist regional sales team as needed, including increasing brand awareness locally/regionally and driving leads and MQLs
- Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities
- Track and report on the impact of field marketing activities in line with the marketing and sales teams’ pipeline goals
- As part of the Paperless Parts team, further, the company-wide DEI & social impact initiatives
- Travel to job shops as need, COVID-19 vaccination required
Required Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years' full-time experience in B2B demand generation
- Previous experience in events management
- Demonstrate exceptional communication/presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Strong project and time management skills required to efficiently move between multiple, concurrent projects
- Communications and interpersonal skills to build strong working relationships with sales teams and leaders
- Proactive contributor with experience developing and executing end-to-end demand generation campaigns
- Understanding of common KPIs for B2B demand generation campaigns
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
