Purpose of Position
The Investor Relations VP will seek to develop existing and new client relationships and enhance Pantheon’s brand and coverage across the UK and /or Nordic region (Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland).
Key Responsibilities
The RM will have a key role to play in servicing existing clients and supporting the development of new business from existing and new relationships across the UK and/or Nordic region. .
Working across our full product suite (private equity, infrastructure, real assets, real estate and private debt), you will: help develop individual client plans; lead complex RfP processes; write business plans; pull together pitch materials; and be able to present across the full product suite, as well as taking an active part in negotiation and closing of client mandates.
There will be additional responsibilities focused on driving Pantheon’s brand in the region this will include (but not be limited to) the organization of client events such as seminars, workshops, onsite due diligence sessions and supporting with marketing content such as Whitepapers.
You will be supported in these activities by oversight from other senior members of the IR team.
Knowledge and Experience Required
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Private Markets products, ideally including both closed- and open-ended.
- Good knowledge of Institutional and/or Private Wealth investor landscape, and the requirements and themes relevant to these investors.
- Fluency in at least one of the Nordic languages would be a benefit if Nordic focused
- Familiarity with the compliance rules and regulations impacting the UK and/or Nordics
Experience
- Proven track record of Institutional Fundraising & Relationship Management particularly with exposure to the UK and/or Nordic Region
- Demonstrable network with range of relevant investor and consultant contacts
- Experience in onboarding and servicing key clients, and building strong and trusted relationships..
- Prior experience within Private Markets
