The Role

Pantheon is currently looking for a motivated, proactive individual to join the company's international finance team as a full-time accountant. The International Accountant will play a critical role in establishing scaleable accounting and operational processes to help us optimize our existing international markets and grow into new international markets.  This role will report directly to our International Finance Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams in multiple international markets to help drive consistency and mature our operations.  

Cool Things You’ll Do

As the International Accountant, you will be joining our Accounting team during a pivotal time as we continue to grow and scale to be a $250 billion company.  You will play a vital role in establishing best practices and optimizing processes for our international accounting and finance operations. 

  • Manage the day to day accounting activities (purchases and payables, general accounting, asset management) of Pantheon international entities.  
  • Ensure compliance with local government regulations, statutory audits / compliance reporting, and with internal policies and control.
  • Process vendor payment requests and expense claim reports.
  • Ensure compliance on Company’s Expense Policy. Review cash obligation reports, credit card expenses and other expenses for approval. Complete and monitor proper recording in Netsuite.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports. Facilitate the financial close process and related activities, including preparation of JEs, account reconciliation and intercompany analysis.
  • Perform analytical review and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and correctness of GL accounts.  Should ensure that proper check and balance are maintained for each reporting.
  • Lead all tax-related processes including calculating and filing corporate tax returns for the company.
  • Manage relationships with any outsourced accounting team(s).
  • Maintain relationships and facilitate external communications with outsourced parties, consultants, banks, auditors, and other relevant parties.
  • Assist in preparation of international entities cash requirements, budgeting, and timelines for funding.

What you Bring to the Table

  • Certified Public Accountant with a strong working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in more than one discrete role in Philippines tax compliances, Financial Reporting, or Disbursements Processing.
  • Experience in working with external audit firms and regional finance office management.
  • Experience in handling compliance reporting with BIR, PEZA and SEC. 
  • Technology-savvy skills; proficient in all Google and Microsoft applications; NetSuite experience. 

 Bonus Points For:

  • SAAS industry experience
  • Multi-country accounting experience
