The Role:

Panorama is looking for a Vice President of Marketing who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader—someone who can set the vision while also rolling up their sleeves to execute, optimize, and drive impact. As VP of Marketing, you will be responsible for building and executing a scalable marketing strategy that drives demand, expands brand awareness, and accelerates revenue growth in the K-12 EdTech market. You will oversee product marketing, demand generation, brand strategy, and marketing operations, ensuring alignment with Panorama’s mission and business goals. This role requires an entrepreneurial leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable balancing high-level strategic planning with tactical execution. The role will require 10-15% travel for customer and internal meetings. 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Develop and execute a high-impact marketing strategy that drives demand generation, revenue growth, and brand positioning in the K-12 EdTech space
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Revenue Enablement to align marketing efforts with go-to-market (GTM) priorities and customer needs
  • Oversee marketing budgets and prioritize investments that maximize ROI while ensuring efficiency and scalability
  • Build and mentor a high-performing, execution-oriented marketing team across digital marketing, demand generation, content, and analytics
  • Be hands-on—this is not just a management role. We need a leader excited to step in, optimize campaigns, refine messaging, and drive results directly

Product Marketing & Sales Enablement

  • Own the product marketing strategy—ensuring Panorama’s positioning, messaging, and differentiation are clear and compelling
  • Develop buyer personas, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement materials to help the revenue team articulate Panorama’s value effectively
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Experience to improve win rates, reduce sales cycles, and increase adoption
  • Conduct market research and analyze customer insights to inform product roadmap decisions

Demand Generation & Growth Marketing

  • Design and execute full-funnel demand generation programs, including inbound marketing, ABM, and performance marketing, to drive a high-quality pipeline
  • Optimize lead nurturing, scoring, and attribution models to align marketing and sales
  • Leverage SEO, SEM, paid media, email, and content marketing to increase brand visibility and engagement
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making by continuously monitoring campaign effectiveness and optimizing performance

Brand Awareness & Thought Leadership

  • Own and refine Panorama’s brand positioning and storytelling to differentiate in a competitive market
  • Drive thought leadership through compelling content, speaking engagements, and industry partnerships
  • Elevate Panorama’s presence in the K-12 education and EdTech communities

Data-Driven Marketing & Optimization

  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and marketing initiatives
  • Utilize marketing automation (HubSpot) and CRM (Salesforce) to optimize performance and ensure a seamless marketing-to-sales funnel
  • Stay ahead of market trends, customer behavior shifts, and new technologies to continuously improve marketing strategies

Who You Are:

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of marketing leadership experience in fast-growing SaaS, EdTech, or B2B environments, including demand generation, product marketing, and brand strategy
  • Proven experience balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution. You don’t just set direction—you roll up your sleeves and help do the work
  • Experience leading marketing at a high-growth tech company Deep expertise in product marketing, demand generation, and digital strategy with a strong track record of driving revenue
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills—able to attract, develop, and manage high-performance marketing teams
  • Experience in K-12, EdTech, or B2B SaaS marketing is strongly preferred

Salary: The starting base salary for this role is $225,000.  Final salary offers will be determined based on experience, skills, and geographic location.

The “Starting Base Salary” represents anticipated salary for this position across all US locations. The determination of this anticipated Base Salary involves the consideration of many factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: unique skill sets, experience, training, performance, licensure and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. Our anticipated Base Salary determination is just one component of Panorama’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual bonus or commission awards, equity awards, as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits
