About the Role:

The Product Manager for Infrastructure and Security will play a crucial role in shaping and executing Panorama’s infrastructure and security strategy, ensuring that our platform remains reliable, scalable, and secure as we grow. Reporting to the Director of Product, this role will involve collaborating closely with engineering, security, product, and legal teams to build and enhance the foundation that supports Panorama’s mission.

In this role, you’ll prioritize high-impact initiatives that improve platform security, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency. You’ll work to ensure our infrastructure and security posture supports current needs while also positioning us for future growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Strategy and Roadmap: Define and manage the product roadmap for Panorama’s infrastructure and security needs. Partner closely with engineering, SRE, and security teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure systems that align with Panorama’s business goals.
  • Security and Compliance: Own the product aspects of our security and compliance initiatives. Ensure our platform meets rigorous security standards and adheres to SOC2 and other industry regulations. Collaborate with the security team to drive product improvements that enhance security while supporting a great user experience.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with engineering and SRE teams to define requirements and prioritize infrastructure projects. Ensure that security and reliability are embedded into all areas of product development. Coordinate across teams to ensure alignment and clear communication of technical infrastructure priorities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders across the company, including engineering, client experience, revenue, and leadership teams, to understand their infrastructure and security needs. Translate these into actionable product initiatives and report out on progress, ensuring strong alignment between technical and business goals.
  • Operational Efficiency: Champion initiatives that improve the efficiency of our infrastructure, helping Panorama scale cost-effectively. Balance short-term needs with long-term investments in technical infrastructure, security enhancements, and operational stability.
  • Risk Management: Work with teams to identify and mitigate potential security or infrastructure risks. Prioritize investments in areas that will deliver the greatest improvement in our security posture and operational resilience.
  • Executive Communication: Communicate infrastructure and security priorities, progress, and challenges to senior leadership, ensuring they are informed of key developments and potential risks. Provide recommendations for long-term investments in infrastructure and security.

Our Ideal Candidate has: 

  • 3+ years of product management experience, with a focus on infrastructure, security, or platform services in a technology-driven organization. Previous experience as a software engineer is a plus. 
  • Technical Background: Ability to understand complex technical concepts and make informed decisions about infrastructure and security investments. Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as AWS is a plus.
  • Proven success in working with cross-functional teams, working closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure products.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
  • Experience with security and compliance frameworks, such as SOC 2, GDPR, and FERPA, and a strong understanding of best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data to prioritize and make informed product decisions. Experience with monitoring and observability tools is a plus.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Proven ability to lead through influence and foster a culture of shared success across technical and business teams.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Base Salary: $115,200 - $153,700

The “Base Salary” range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position across all US locations. The determination of this anticipated Base Salary range involves the consideration of many factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: unique skill sets, experience, training, performance, licensure and certifications, as well as other business and organizational needs. Our anticipated Base Salary determination is just one component of Panorama’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes annual bonus or commission awards, equity awards, as well as other region-specific health and welfare benefits.
