What does your job look like?
As a Tech Lead Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. You'll lead initiatives to migrate monolithic architectures to modern microservices, leveraging advanced DevOps practices and cloud technologies. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation and efficiency, contributing to the company’s overall software engineering excellence. From architecture design to deployment and maintenance, you’ll shape solutions that align with business needs while mentoring team members and setting technical standards.
Your main responsibilities will be
- Architectural Transformation
Migrate monolithic architectures to microservices using Dockerfile, Maven, and observability agents. - Update Java pom files as needed to ensure smooth integration with Maven.
DevOps & Cloud Engineering
- Orchestrate containers in clusters using OpenShift manifests, including Pods, Deployments, Services, HPA, PV, and Ingress.
- Configure environments with ConfigMaps and Secrets.
- Implement cluster security using RBAC.
- Automate processes with CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, OpenShift, or GitLab.
Development & Leadership
- Write high-quality, well-tested code for frontend and backend systems.
- Design innovative solutions aligned with business objectives, ensuring technical excellence.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Address technical debt and recommend architectural improvements.
Operational Support
- Oversee deployment releases and maintenance of critical applications.
What you need to succeed in this role
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
- Advanced English proficiency (B2 or higher).
Backend Expertise
- Data Handling: Proficient in working with REST APIs to deliver interactive applications.
- Core Frameworks: Expertise in Java Spring Boot and ORM tools like Hibernate/JPA.
- Build Tools: Proficient in build automation with Maven.
DevOps Skills
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and observability platforms.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes in Jenkins or GitLab.
Cloud & Microservices
- Strong understanding of microservice architectures and Cloud-Native designs.
