How is your job?
The QA Automation role is responsible for defining the strategy to ensure the quality of the products. This role requires strategic thinking, planning and knowledge in the product development life cycle. You will provide direction, mentoring and coaching to QA teams to ensure automated and manual efforts. Work closely with the DevOps team to define the solution for each platform. Take responsibility for ensuring test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking tasks.
Main responsibilities
- Establish quality standards to reinforce technical standards.
- Monitor all QA activities, results, defects, root cause analysis.
- Supports the QA team in the creation of solutions, designs, capacity planning and performance optimization.
What you need to succeed in this role
- +3 years of experience in automated testing
- Strong experience in Test Automation, Test Framework Design, Planning and Development.
- Experience with design patterns, principles, methods, techniques and tools for effective automation process management.
- Good experience in managing automation activities
- Good knowledge of front end automation tools (e.g. Selenium or Appium or Cypress)
- Good knowledge of back end automation tools (e.g. JMeter or K6 or Rest-assured)
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle in agile methodologies
- Experience in programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, Java)
- Experience testing and automating Rest, Soap or GraphQL APIs and services
- Search for evidence in databases (SQL queries) and logs in the DevOps or Datadog pipeline
- Preparation of performance testing configuring cases in the Taurus/Blazemeter or similar tools (desirable)
- Configure your dashboards to display automated test results in Grafana or Kibana (desirable)
- Experience working directly with technical leaders, project managers and business analysts in business and IT organizations.
- Experience executing tests throughout the life cycle of development projects
- Strong change management control and high problem-solving skills.
- ISTQB Certification (desirable)
- Good command of English, B2 onwards
