What does your job look like?
As a Backend Java Developer, you will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, including design, estimation, planning, coding, testing, release, and support. This role requires close collaboration with business analysts and solution architects to develop technical solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Write and review technical specifications to ensure compliance with detailed designs and coding standards.
- Manage technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits for managing source code and conducting code reviews.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to project team members and assist in the recruitment and training of new staff.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Java (Java 8+), including familiarity with lambdas and streams.
- Proficient in Spring Boot, including configuring Spring Security and JWT, and implementing OAuth 2.0.
- Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka or message queues.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful service development and the Richardson maturity model.
- Experience in developing and implementing microservices from scratch.
- Experience in transactional database management and SQL query optimization.
- Proficient in Spring Data JPA and code error management techniques.
- Knowledge of encryption algorithms and tokenization mechanisms such as JWT.
Additional Technical Skills:
- Experience with programming languages like Golang, Python, and NodeJS.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of microservices architecture design.
Desirable Skills:
- Docker, RabbitMQ, Kafka.
- Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
Language Requirements:
- Advanced conversational English (B2 level or above).
