ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a QA Analyst to join our team at Pallet. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have startup experience, and possess deep product insight. As a QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge products.

SOME THINGS YOU MAY BE WORKING ON

  • Advocate for the user by understanding user needs and expectations, and ensuring that the product meets functionality and usability requirements.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify specifications, and provide feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in contributing the QA perspective and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and test coverage by advocating for the user.
  • Collaborate with the development team to prioritize and address critical issues, and ensure timely resolution of defects.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues and edge cases not covered by existing test cases.
  • Conduct acceptance testing and regression to ensure the system meets requirements.
  • Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to ensure consistent project execution.
  • Review product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable.

YOU HAVE

  • 3-5 years of experience in a QA engineering role.
  • Proven experience in a startup environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Adept at conducting product testing and developing test strategies.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing within a QA engineering role, preferably in logistics, transportation, or warehouse management.
  • Proven track record of successfully testing complex software systems in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail, capable of identifying and troubleshooting issues effectively.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and best practices.
  • Proficient in communicating and collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools and systems like TestRail, JIRA, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban.

COMPENSATION RANGE

12 to 17 lakhs plus equity
