We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join our team. In this role you will play a critical role supporting the Sales organization by helping to improve sales infrastructure including sales tools, systems, structure, and analytics to help the Sales team scale.

You must be highly organized and analytical, with the ability to synthesize data and make sound business recommendations to the team.  We need a strong leader who is self-directed, well organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a Sales Operations Manager, you will:

  • Own and manage the RFP and tender process globally.
  • Work closely with legal to facilitate commercial contracts, T&Cs, improve language, and facilitate smooth contracting processes.
  • Manage, own, define, improve and coordinate our CRM (SalesForce) for commercial purposes.
  • Support the sales team using process improvement, measurement, tracking and analytics.
  • Track contractual obligations for payments, licenses, royalties, etc.
  • Partner with Marketing to refine lead qualification process, analyze and report on campaign performance with reporting and dashboards.
  • Create monthly content for executive presentations and board reporting.
  • Track and analyze key metrics including pipeline growth, win/loss rates, and quota attainment.
  • Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for sales management.
  • Assist with on-boarding and training new sales talent on sales process, CRM, contracts, and quoting.
  • In coordination with Sales and Finance leadership teams, develop, maintain, and execute sales commission and compensation plans.
  • Analyze business opportunities and develop strategic sales plans globally.
  • Demonstrate ‘core’ level knowledge of anatomical pathology, technology solutions and competitive strategies through the use of company resources, on the job training, in-house literature, marketing material, and sales brochures.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required, MBA preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 20%+, when it is safe to do so.
  • 3+ years’ of experience in sales operations as a Salesforce subject matter expert with proficiency creating reports, optimizing processes, and managing dashboards.
  • Demonstrated decision making ability towards solving problems, while working under pressure and effectively communicating these solutions to co-workers and customers.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge and be a self-starter requiring little supervision.
  • Superior Microsoft Excel financial modeling and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
  • Familiarity with SQL preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to positively receive and respond to feedback for improvement and development.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-past, deadline driven environment.
  • Drive for results (service, quality, and continuous improvement) – ensure procedures and processes are in place that lead to delivery of quality results and continually reassess their effectiveness to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Communication – excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to share and receive information and ideas from all levels of the organization in order to achieve the desired results.
