We are seeking an EU Business Lead to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for all activities related to implementing business and market strategy, achieving business targets and supporting customers in Europe. You will uncover, develop and close opportunities, bringing cutting edge AI tools to pathology practices in the continent. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual that enjoys the challenge of commercializing next-generation technologies in the laboratory space.
As the Business Lead, EU, you will:
Create a Business Development strategy/business plan for key European countries
Recruit European KOLs and evangelists for our products
Build strong partner relationships with scanner companies and other partners
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, priorities and pain points and communicate these regularly to the product team
Maximize early customer success, ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner Maintain broad intelligence around the market space: market trends, industry challenges, major players/key agencies, relevant products and technologies
6+ years’ experience in a healthcare BD or market strategy role with a strong track record of assessing market opportunities and building partnerships in new spaces
Excellent “c-suite” communication skills and experience with multi-decision-maker partnerships.
Accountable, proactive, and thoughtful with demonstrated strategic problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of pathology, imaging and lab informatics
Ability to learn and understand disease, biology and technical concepts quickly
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
Must be willing to travel up to 60%.
Experience working in fast-paced start-ups
Understanding of computer vision, machine learning and software as a medical device
Fluency in English and at least two other European languages
