We're looking for a Consumer PR specialist to join our team. We are currently in a very exciting phase of growth as we prepare to boost our presence and momentum in Japan. We are on a mission to become a new value added shopping experience in Japan and we are looking for a bright and energetic professional to help develop and deliver our PR activities in order to further build our Paidy brand and business in Japan.
The Consumer PR Specialist reporting to Head of PR will help manage and execute consumer PR initiatives, closely working with the Marketing, Experience and Sales teams as well as the agencies.
In this role, we seek a PR professional who enjoys creating contents and engaging with our customers, followers and influencers. The preferred candidate must be a good communicator and able to multitask on several projects.
The key objectives of this role are to help shape and execute the Consumer PR activities Specifically; ● Support creation of communication strategies for specific initiatives ● Manage and execute consumer PR initiatives, closely working with Head of PR, Marketing and Experience as well as the agencies ● Provide engaging text for Consumer PR efforts and work with internal resources/agencies for developing images or video contents ● Liaise with Sales/Relationship Managers to stay up-to-date on new merchant launches, campaigns, major news that can be used in Consumer or Corporate PR efforts ● Partner with Risk & Analytics team to lead Data-driven PR ● Build relationships with customers, prospects, industry professionals, journalists and influencers ● Help manage our official blog (content calendar, creation in collaboration with the copywriter) ● Manage day-to-day work ● Stay up-to-date with digital technology and consumer trends
Skills and Requirements:

- Exceptional oral and written communications skills in Japanese
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Consumer PR at a PR agency
- A ‘people person’, who is engaging and wants to engage with our customers, followers and influencers
- Motivated self-starter
- Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Experience working with influencers and creators for content production is a big plus
- Experience in managing content calendar and creation on social media is a plus
