Key Responsibilities

  • Making sure the R&D domain is meeting the quality standards and KPI’s in multiple teams / squads
  • Lead the automation vision and Shift left approach across the entire R&D domain including the CICD process.
  • Being a key stakeholder and decision maker in product design, release activities, and methodology definition
  • Lead the Quality guild across the scrum teams / squads making sure the professional aspects and tools are known and being forced.
  • Creating the testing strategy and risk management of major Key releases
  • Recruiting ,mentoring the Quality engineers in the group
  • Working closely with R&D Directors to achieve a mutual quality culture and quality product development.

 

Qualifications

    • At least 10 years of experience in software development industry as QA / Automation Engineer
    • At least 5 years of experience leading QA and Automation pillar in large scale enterprise-grade product
    • Strong leadership capabilities running processes and initiatives in parallel with ability to collaborate and create engagement across the R&D group.
    • Familiarity with modern automation framework and testing tools (i e : Selenium. Cypress, Restsharp etc’).
    • Experience working in modern agile methodologies (scrum, CI/CD, TDD, etc, Shift Left).
    • Experience in a variety of development and testing methodologies and tools 
    • Experience with building automation and environments from scratch
    • Experience with Web application technologies and common architecture
    • Experience with working with multiple stack-holders contributing to the product’s delivery
    • Process oriented and methodical approach
    • Deep understanding of multi-tier architecture 
    • Basic experience with SQL NoSQL databases
    • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented attitude – a must
    • Highly independent, passionate, self-motivated and autodidact
