What do we do?

Paddle offers SaaS companies a completely different approach to their payments infrastructure. Instead of assembling and maintaining a complex stack of payments-related apps and services, we’re a Merchant of Record for our customers, taking away 100% of the pain of payments fragmentation. It’s faster, safer, cheaper, and, above all, way better.

In May 2022, we joined forces with ProfitWell. ProfitWell provides BI solutions that improve retention and monetization automatically through unmatched subscription intelligence. As one team and one platform, we offer the "done for you" approach to SaaS payments, billing, and growth.

We’re backed by investors including KKR, FTV Capital, Kindred, Notion, and 83North and serve over 3000 software sellers in 245 territories globally.

The role

You will be joining a highly skilled, dedicated frontend team within the Billing group, providing critical services for buyers, sellers and our support teams at Paddle. This includes managing subscriptions, invoices, transactions and products.

You’ll be working closely with Product managers, designers and engineers across teams to create a world-class user experience for our customers. To achieve this, we are rebuilding the dashboard / login area with Remix: refreshing or creating new pages and features to address the needs of high-volume sellers.

What you'll do

  • Work on critical frontend applications used by a global network of sellers
  • Develop greenfield products and enhance our existing front-end architecture
  • Collaborate closely and pair with product designers and contribute to design systems
  • Provide engineering advice for team issues, and be involved in wider technical decisions that positively impact the department and company
  • Work directly with backend teams on API specifications and integration
  • Improve the dashboard user experience in gradual, frequent iterations

We'd love to hear from you if you are:

  • A technical skill set includes: React, TypeScript, CSS, RTL/Jest, Jenkins or any other CI/CD platform.
  • Implemented high performing front-end applications in agile Product teams.
  • Experience working closely with Product designers and pairing for ideation sessions.
  • Strong understanding of the development process from design through to deployment and maintenance and what that means for day-to-day development.
  • Worked with AWS/Terraform before and practised DevOps, or are willing to learn about this.

Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to better support you through the application process and in the workplace. Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor required by law to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We are also required to measure our progress toward having at least 7% of our workforce be individuals with disabilities. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had a disability. Because a person may become disabled at any time, we ask all of our employees to update their information at least every five years.

Identifying yourself as an individual with a disability is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer will be maintained confidentially and not be seen by selecting officials or anyone else involved in making personnel decisions. Completing the form will not negatively impact you in any way, regardless of whether you have self-identified in the past. For more information about this form or the equal employment obligations of federal contractors under Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
