Pacifico Energy Partners GmbH (“Pacifico”) is a renewable energy company for wind and solar energy as well as battery and hydrogen technologies. We develop greenfield projects, repower existing plants, provide state-of-the-art asset management services and facilitate the acquisition of operational and turn-key plants.

Pacifico’s Structured Finance team is mainly responsible for structuring and raising external financing (equity and debt) needed for developing and constructing onshore wind and solar PV plants. In addition, our day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining financial models and supporting Pacifico’s Development team in ensuring bankability of the projects (e.g., support in running due diligence processes, structuring key project contracts etc.).

We are looking for an Associate to join the Structured Finance team with the following profile:


Your key accountabilities

  • Support debt and equity raising process from inception to closing, e.g.,
    • Create tailored pitchbooks, investment memorandums and related materials
    • Analyse third-party financing offers from banks, development finance institutions and funds by building and using complex financial models
    • Assist with loan negotiations, legal documentation, due diligence, and other ad-hoc topics
  • Build, develop and maintain the financial models for the company’s acquisitions and development projects
  • Screen and research new and existing investors, lenders and capital providers in the market
  • Monitor deal flow in the renewables markets and research latest market trends
  • Working closely with the senior members of the Structured Finance team towards the execution of financing transactions



  • Master’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Finance, Engineering or Science) with an impeccable academic track record from a leading university
  • Prior relevant experience (internships) in banking, private equity, M&A, or a tier-one consulting firm, with up to 1 year of previous full-term work experience, financial modelling skills are of advantage
  • Analytical way of thinking
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong attention to detail and a drive to work independently on internal and external processes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Passion for the renewable energy
  • Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of German and/or additional languages is a plus
