About This Role

The work of our Foundry team is intellectually exciting, wide-ranging, always evolving, and central to our mission. We’re looking for a motivated product manager to lead the efforts of the cross-functional team to drive transformational change in our portfolio companies. As a PM on the Foundry team, you will be responsible for learning about different industries that our portfolio companies are in, leading structured opportunity and customer discovery, building a deep expertise on workflows and pain points, and forming a vision for how the industry should change and how each portfolio company will bring that change to market. You’ll spend time with portfolio companies learning from experts and working with their leadership teams to identify areas of opportunity. You’ll also partner with our investment team to deeply understand our investment hypothesis and business goals. Then, you’ll build product roadmaps with clear, measurable deliverables and milestones that map to those OKRs and business objectives. The Foundry team serves as an embedded technology team to our portfolio companies and is responsible for consistently delivering high-quality AI-driven products and features to realize transformation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead customer and opportunity discovery for our portfolio companies with a focus on where AI/ML can be transformative
  • Drive meaningful change within our portfolio companies by owning the product vision and roadmap
  • Define and prioritize requirements, design experiments, and bring this technology to market consistently and effectively to realize the potential AI/ML has to bring massive improvements to the industries we invest in
  • Run the product development process to enable the cross-functional team to rapidly design, develop, deploy, and iterate features and product to execute on the roadmap
  • Relentlessly champion the customer and users of our portfolio company’s products and services
  • Partner with P72H’s internal product and engineering team as well as the members of the portfolio company to inspire, execute, iterate, and facilitate collaboration to unlock creativity and continually drive alignment


  • 3+ years of experience in product management.
  • Demonstrated experience delighting customers and bringing innovative products to market
  • Experience in product management for AI/ML products or an interest in product for AI/ML
  • Data and engineering proficiency, whether from a degree, an engineering background, or working alongside a technical team. Engineers love working with you.
  • Action-oriented, constantly unblocking, problem-solving, and pushing for delivery
  • Startup experience or similar
  • A love of learning and continual up-leveling of themselves and their team
  • Ability to adhere to the highest ethical standards and to work closely with the Firm’s Compliance team
