About Ox Street

Leading sneaker and streetwear platform Ox Street is the first social marketplace for Gen Z in Southeast Asia, focused on sneakers and streetwear. Our mission is to break the old-fashioned boundaries between social, shopping, and gaming in one platform for Gen Z to discover, buy, sell, and flex sneakers and streetwear. Gen Z is a growing market, with 85 million consumers in Southeast Asia, who together are forecasted to  spend USD 128 billion on fashion in 2025.

You will

  • Clarity within the team on deliverables and deadlines
  • Marketing input metrics growing consistently week over week
  • Deadlines being met or beaten consistently
  • Constant improvement of marketing input metrics (“getting 1% better every day”)
  • Tracking of KPIs and presenting insights in a actionable way
  • Hire A-player marketing exec and other marketing team members when applicable

 

You have:

  • Efficient execution of marketing activities:
  • Managing a tight process for creating content for ads and social media
  • Inventing improvements to processes to achieve more in the same time
  • Being the ‘traffic controller’ for marketing
  • Aligning between team members and countries
  • Keeping the organization informed and involved with marketing and growth initiatives
  • Setting up and maintaining tracking for the entire marketing team
  • Delegating data input activities to the relevant domain experts in the team
  • Aggregating and presenting metrics to the entire team in our weekly and monthly review meetings

 

You will be perfect if you have:

  • Experience in managing people and processes
  • High proficiency with digital tools, in particular google sheets
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills. Ability to foster collaboration between creatives, country executives and domain experts like influencer marketing as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A direct, yet empathic communication style. Leaving nothing unsaid or elephants in the room unaddressed
  • Superb organizational skills. You were always the person with the neatly organized desk
  • Ability to process large amounts of information and prioritize ruthlessly
  • We are looking for a real ‘taskmaster’, which means being obsessed with efficiency and delivering output, and holding others accountable if deliverables are late or not on-spec
  • Proven ability to see execution paths at different scales
  • How can we try something new within 1 day?
  • What does a 1 week version of a plan look like?
  • How do we scale a new process up to 100x the size with the same resources?

  • We don’t expect you to be creative. We need someone to lead the brainstorm, not the one with the best idea during the brainstorm
  • Not a brand identity or content role. If your approach to marketing is all about agonizing over the style or look of communications, this role is not for you
  • Not strategic. This is a tactical role. Our marketing strategy is fairly clear, what we need is someone to lead the execution of it
  • This role is not so much about what to do. What we need is someone who is really passionate about the how
