The Practice Analytics team is dedicated to helping clinical teams deliver the best patient care at the dentist office. We apply Overjet’s cutting-edge dental AI in a SaaS platform so dentists can consistently identify needed patient care and better explain treatment needs with powerful AI visualizations.

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join the engineering team. As a Solutions Engineer on the practice analytics product team, you work with customers to onboard the Overjet system, debug issues, and support customers.

What You'll Do

  • Provide email/phone/slack support to help troubleshoot technical problems that occur during use of our AI products
  • Create and track support tickets with the appropriate AI, Frontend, and Backend teams
  • Configure APIs, SFTP, data formats and business logic to ensure successful customer deployments
  • Research functionality, usability, and performance related issues
  • Communicate steps to resolve issues to customers and our teams
  • Make recommendations for solutions and improvements to products and processes
  • Provide reports to management for clear status on critical accounts or issues
  • Work with our Development, QA, Customer Success and Management teams to provide pre-Sales and post-Sales assistance
  • Act as a customer advocate and bring their experience back to our teams to continually improve our products and services 

 

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Experience with enterprise SaaS products or Google Cloud Platform/AWS/Azure
  • Customer obsession and enthusiasm to root cause problems
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot cloud based services
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to debug, troubleshoot and diagnose software problems
  • Ability to work assignments that require considerable judgement and initiative
  • Enjoy improving your product and AI expertise

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Python and SQL
  • Experience with Jupyter or Anaconda
  • Experience with Data operations
  • Knowledge of APIs, microservices
  • Knowledge of Docker containers and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of automation testing frameworks, TDD, and integration testing
  • Experience with react, javascript, front end applications
