The  Video Content Operations Specialist is a key role that oversees our vast library of short form online videos. It will be up to you to maintain this archive, to know the content inside out, and identify new content opportunities.

 A day in the life:
 Responsible for the video ingestion and publishing process
 Ensure quality control and safety of video content
 Own and manage the database of information on our content

  • Working closely with the sales team to understand needs of specific markets and create synergies between publisher and content providers
  • Researching potential content providers, recommending suitable partners
  • Finding relevant leads and establishing initial contact
  • Collaborating with the Video team and other teams to create sales propositions
  • Negotiating licensing agreements, in close collaboration with the Head of Video
  • Managing relationships with content providers
  • Identifying opportunities for optimizing video views and engagement

 

What you’ll bring:

  • 2+ years experience in a business development role, either on the selling or buying side
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with data, forecasts and projections
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Understanding of the online media industry (experience with video licensing is a strong plus)
  • Affinity for media, YouTube, video content
  •  Ideal candidate will have worked at a media or content company
  •  Previous data manipulation and analysis experience (.xls knowledge)
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and multi-cultural teams
  • Strong English is mandatory
