What you will do:

We are looking for a Director of Talent Shared Services to join our dynamic team at Lighthouse. As a key leader in our People & Talent department, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our rapidly growing organization. #LI-DNI

The purpose of this position is to: 

  • Serve as leader for our Talent Acquisition and People Ops Team 
  • Build the foundations of Lighthouse’s Talent Shared Services Strategy and be part of the change management in 2024 - 2025
  • Be part of the People & Talent leadership team and be a strong sparring partner in People Operations & Talent Acquisition  related matters

You will be responsible for overseeing the People Operations & Talent Acquisition team. Your goal is to be a strategic leader and help us build a well versed, nimble and efficient Talent Shared Services team globally. Your goal is to ensure efficient delivery of Talent services to our diverse team of 600+ members across various locations and help us prepare for operating at scale. At the same time, we are looking for a leader who is there to support the team, deliver results, and bring this team to the next level.

Where you will have impact:

  • Lead and manage the People Operations & Talent Acquisition function , including but not limited to Total Reward Strategy, HR operations, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and HRIS management, reporting, Talent Acquisition Partnerships, budget management. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to build out the Talent shared services team, processes, systems, and procedures to support scalability and efficiency.
  • Lead the change management that comes with session up the Talent Shared Services Organization within the People & Talent Team as well as the wider Lighthouse organization
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations across all jurisdictions where the company operates.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to establish and maintain clear and nimble processes and policies and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of Talent  shared services.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR shared services team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive initiatives related to employee experience, workforce planning, and total reward
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to HR shared services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and service quality.
  • Prepare and present - in collaboration with the Talent Strategy function - regular reports and updates to senior leadership on HR shared services metrics, trends, and initiatives.

Who you are:

  • Has a background in HR and proven progressive experience in an HR Leadership Position, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing HR Team for a regional or global organization.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, with expertise Talent Acquisition and, or People Operations
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, change management, and project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Proven track record of driving results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Meaning that you are not easily overwhelmed when a process is not in place or structure changes arise. This also means sometimes taking off your strategic hat and be very hands-on to help the team execute. 
  • Experience working in the SaaS industry or technology sector is a plus.
